Fight Like A Tiger: 
This October, we're inviting YOU to join our Fight Like A Tiger campaign — a month-long walk-a-thon honoring big cats like Mani, Crystal, Indy II, and Marni who succumbed to breast cancer at the Refuge. 

Every step you take brings us closer to our $10,000 goal—helping us purchase an AI-assisted portable ultrasound probe and tablet so our veterinary team can detect breast cancer and other serious conditions earlier in our rescued wild cats.

Why this matters:
Just like humans, wild cats can develop life-threatening conditions like mammary tumors. Early detection can save lives — but we need the right tools to make it possible. This cutting-edge AI-ultrasound system will give our team the power to act fast and give our animals the best possible care.

Inspired by Mani, Crystal, India II, and Marni, four of our residents who battled breast cancer, this campaign honors their legacy and drives real change in how we detect and create prevention strategies for all our animals.

Every dollar raised helps us reach our goal of purchasing a portable, AI-assisted ultrasound probe, giving our care team the tools they need to catch life-threatening conditions earlier, while improving the outcomes for the animals in our care.
