i lost my wonderful cousin Debbie and my beautiful cat Athena to cancer and I don't want any other animal or person to have to fight this fight.

This October, we're walking for awareness and early detection for the care of all the animals who call Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge home. 

Inspired by Mani, Crystal, India II, and Marni, four of our residents who battled breast cancer, this campaign honors their legacy and drives real change in how we detect and create prevention strategies for all our animals.

Every dollar raised helps us reach our goal of purchasing a portable, AI-assisted ultrasound probe, giving our care team the tools they need to catch life-threatening conditions earlier, while improving the outcomes for the animals in our care.

This isn't just a walk. 
It's a movement for all animal residents.
